The structure is located in the Nohmul Center, and is one of the most important sites in northern Belize. Destruction of the site was detected last week. This type of demolition is really a tragedy, however, it does provide a direct means of examining the inner area of the structure, and allows the remains of domestic tools of that time to come to the surface.
